This is my 4th year riding in the Tour de Cure in honor of my father.

I will only be riding 40 miles this year, but I will also be doing the Keuka Lake Triathlon the next day, so a very busy weekend for me to prepare for Ironman 70.3 Atlantic City in September.

Thanks to the generous support of my friends and family, I have raised $6,259 for diabetes research in the last two years: $1,554 in 2016, $2,205 in 2017, and $2,500 in 2018.

My goal is to raise $2,500 again in 2019 with your help.

It has been 37 years since my father was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes, and there have been great advancements made in researching and treatment for this debilitating disease since then:

It’s been over 19 years since Type I Diabetes took my father’s life, and every day that we get closer and closer to a cure I am grateful that other families will not have to suffer through the loss of their loved ones.
